Specifications : Biosafety Cabinets are specialized workstations widely used in clinical, pharmaceutical, life science and industrial laboratories where experiments need highly contaminant free environment. Also known as biological safety cabinets and biohazard safety cabinets, these are made in three different class types such as Class 1, Class 2 and Class 3; in which Class 2 is widely used in microbiology laboratories because it provides protection to both product as well as personal. It is biosafety level factor which decides which BSC should be used in laboratory. These cabinets are considered safer than other clean benches because such BSCs effectively eliminate risks to operator / staff, samples and the environment from pathogenic biological agents (PBA) and microorganisms responsible for spreading airborne infection

Types :   There are three types of class 2 biosafety cabinets are made. It is the type of work which decides which class 2 BSC should be used in laboratory. Below is short description about all types:
  1. Type B2: Does not recirculate but exhaust 100% air

Construction : These cabinets are ergonomically designed to provide long service life. Only thick metal sheets and pipes are used in construction so that you may get the finest and safest Biosafety Cabinet in the market today.

Air Circulation : In order to minimize spread of airborne bacterial and viral organisms, the use of filter is crucial; therefore, we use 99.97% efficiency HEPA filters for particle size 0.3 microns in our biological class 2 type A2 safety cabinets. These air filters are of reputed brands in the market, economical in price and easy replaceable. ISO 5 / Class 100 quality, supply and exhaust through HEPA filters are done. Inflow velocity remains approx. 105 fpm (0.5 m/sec), while down flow velocity remains approx. 55 fpm (0.3 m/sec). 70 % air is re-circulated and 30% exhaust.

Standard Accessories : Our Biosafety cabinets are fitted with fluorescent lights outside working zone. UV lamps are fitted inside working zone in such a way that the operator cannot see them directly. An hour meter is connected to UV lamp. Electrical sockets are fitted to run any instrument under the working area; in addition, service fixtures for air, gas, vacuum and water are fitted on demand

External cabinet is made of thick gauge of GI sheet which is powder coated and painted to enhance its corrosion resistance feature or GMP model with complete stainless steel if required. The inner chamber is made of thick gauge of 304 grade stainless steel sheets. The gap between the inner and external chamber is filled with high density glass wool which minimizes heat loss and keeps the unit energy efficient. Refrigerant used in this system is free of CFC.
In long term experience, we have noted that different users have different needs; therefore, we understand the need of customization. IG-LAMINAR VERTICAL AIR FLOW:Laminar air flow workstation is a closed cabinet fitted with HEPA filtered air flow system with unidirectional constant flow of air with almost no or minimal turbulence. The air flow velocity remains between 0.4 m/s to 0.6 m/s. The purpose of using such workstations in laboratory is to create particle and bacteria free working environment to carry out specialized work. As these units discharge air towards user, they provide no personal protection but product protection from room contaminants.

Types 

Vertical Laminar Air flow :- It is the most used type of laminar air flow. In vertical flow cabinet, room air is entered in working area through HEPA filter fitted on top of the cabinet.       Incorporated with 7” touch screen graphical user interface which displays safety and performance data and maintenance data including the total accumulated operating hours of the unit, the total UV work hours and the UV bulb install date, the filter running time. Estimated residual lifetime of the HEPA filter, and the filter install date. Touch-sensitive areas that support finger gestures like tapping and user.


      MOTOR

      Our Biosafety cabinet fitted with brushless DC ECM motor. Blower will automatically adjusts the airflow speed without the use of a damper to ensure continuous safe working conditions even without maintenance adjustments.       Air Filteration :  The efficiency of a Laminar Air Flow workstation depends upon the quality of pre filters and HEPA filters. In our LAF, the Air filtration system is created to work efficiently even in critical environment. Pre filter that we use are box type pleated having efficiency 95% down to 5 micron and made of HDPE + Non-woven + HDPE mesh media and fitted in aluminium case. The HEPA filters are of high quality having efficiency 99.99 % down to 0.3 micron and fitted in aluminium anodized case. The blower assembly has ¼ HP; 1400 RPM branded motor and has aluminium anodized impellers.

      The working area is carefully designed for comfortable working and easy cleaning. The workbench is made of stainless steel. Standard fittings are air / gas cock and electrical outlet. For illumination, we use fluorescent lamps. Front side of working area is covered by manual sliding door (sash), which is made of transparent acrylic plastic.

      There are some optional features that can be added if required by customer. LCD display for air velocity, time and lamp on/off status are displayed on it. Germicidal UV lamp, extra electrical socket and magnahelic gauge are also fitted if required.

      Germicidal UV lamp : UV lamp is an added option which is used to sterilize working area prior use. It is advised no contact to made in chamber during this time.

      BOD Incubator is used for storage and fugal / bacterial culture growth at 37°C or below. These laboratory incubators are also known as cooling incubators or BOD Incubator because their temperature range remains between (ambient-20°C) to 60°C. These units are fitted with digital temperature controller and air circulation fan, which is responsible for uniform distribution of temperature across the chamber.

      Each unit is equipped with digital PID temperature controller for high temperature accuracy and uniformity. This controller displays both set value (SV) and process value (PV). It also has temperature low / high alarm which alerts operator if there is any variation in set temperature. Heat is generated using resistance wire heaters or beaded heaters; motorized blower or axial fan is also fitted to distribute the temperature across the chamber evenly.

      iGene Lab serve BOD incubators feature rugged construction. External cabinet is made of thick gauge of GI sheet which is powder coated and painted to enhance its corrosion resistance feature or GMP model with complete stainless steel if required. The inner chamber is made of thick gauge of 304 grade stainless steel sheets. The gap between the inner and external chamber is filled with high density glass wool which minimizes heat loss and keeps the unit energy efficient. Refrigerant used in this system is free of CFC.

      In long term experience, we have noted that different users have different needs; therefore, we understand the need of customization. In order to meet their diverse needs we provide several customization options and accessories to make these bacterial incubators fit to their specific requirements. Optional accessories include PLC based HMI controller, 21 CFR part 11 software, data logger and thermal printer etc.

      DESCRIPTION : Construction: The overall stability chamber is built on a rigid stainless steel frame. Thick gauge of stainless steel 304 or 316 is used. High density PUF insulation is filled between inner and external chambers. Each chamber is provided with suitable number of steel wire mesh cable trays (removable) 4 to 8 or more.
      Temperature & Humidity: The temperature range of our stability test chambers is 10°C to 60°C; while the humidity range is 35% to 95% RH. As per ICH guidelines our chambers are ideal for storage conditions 25°C at 60% RH, 40°C at 75% RH, 30°C at 65% RH and 25°C at 40% RH.
      Refrigeration System: For refrigeration, we equip our stability chambers with branded CFC free compressors that are hermetically sealed and feature quiet operation.

      Illumination: Interior illumination is done by LED/fluorescent light which can be supported by cyclic timer if required. It controls the ON/OFF timing of light for a week.

      Vertical autoclaves are also known as top loading sterilizers that come in cylindrical shape. These are widely used in hospitals, Operation Theatre (OT), microbiology laboratory for sterilization of various medial and cultures. The working of vertical autoclave is simple to understand; to open, a radial locking mechanism is fitted at top of the lid; a foot lever (pedal) is attached at the bottom. User has to press the pedal and lift the lid.

      We make various types of vertical autoclave machines as per intended use. Economy models come with powder coated MS exterior and stainless steel interior. Our Deluxe models are double walled vertical autoclaves and made with inner and exterior both of stainless steel; while the Triple Walled models have another chamber and all three walls are made of thick gauge of stainless steel sheets. We make every vertical steam sterilizer following ASME guidelines in order to ensure that they are safe for users and samples.

      Standard Features : Bacteriological Incubator is used for storage and bacterial culture growth at 37°C. These laboratory incubators are also known as heated incubators because their temperature range remains between above ambient to 70°C. These units are fitted with digital temperature controller and air circulation fan, which is responsible for uniform distribution of temperature across the chamber.

       Each unit is equipped with digital PID temperature controller for high temperature accuracy and uniformity. This controller displays both set value (SV) and process value (PV). It also has temperature low / high alarm which alerts operator if there is any variation in set temperature. Heat is generated using resistance wire heaters or beaded heaters; motorized blower or axial fan is also fitted to distribute the temperature across the chamber evenly.

      iGene Labserve bacteriological incubators feature rugged construction. External cabinet is made of thick gauge of GI sheet which is powder coated and painted to enhance its corrosion resistance feature or GMP model with complete stainless steel if required. The inner chamber is made of thick gauge of 304 grade stainless steel sheets. The gap between the inner and external chamber is filled with high density glass wool which minimizes heat loss and keeps the unit energy efficient.

      In long term experience, we have noted that different users have different needs; therefore, we understand the need of customization. In order to meet their diverse needs we provide several customization options and accessories to make these bacterial incubators fit to their specific requirements. Optional accessories include PLC based HMI controller, 21 CFR part 11 software, data logger and thermal printer etc.
